The Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearances (AFAD) is a federation of 14 human rights organizations in 10 Asian countries, working directly on the issue of involuntary disappearances in Asia. The goal of the Federation, which was established in 1998, is the attainment of truth, justice and redress as well as the reconstruction of the historical memory of the disappeared.
