A M A Z I N G Mararison Is. is a very beautiful place to explore - white sand beaches, rolling hills, can't ask for more. We went there on a Saturday, summer month April BUT it was not crowded. From Kalibo, our hired van took us to Culasi port Antique, travel time of about 3 hours. From Culasi port, we used motorboat to get to to the island - 15 to 20 mins travel time. Boat fare roundtrip was 150php. Entrance fee to the island was 150php and since we wanted to explore the hills, we had to get a guide (250php/guide for a max of 5 people). The trek through the rolling hills should take about 45 mins but it took us more than 2 hours because we just had to stop, enjoy the view and take pictures (loop). The trek ended on the other side of the island's main entry point and we enjoyed the clear, clean beach there. We then took a smaller motorboat (good for 6 people at 250/boat) back to the island's main entry area (15 mins) where we also enjoyed the, powdery white sand beach sans the crowd. We only had a daytour but our guide Josephine told us that tourists can stay longer. No hotels and (public) beach resorts on the island, only very few pension houses.

Nature adventure all in one. From beach, seas, small hiking, and water adventures in one island paradise. People are very friendly and accomodating. The island has a 24hour electrical power and various basic needs are being sold in some stores.
Beautiful Island, good to stay a day to relax and sim at the beach. A must do is to walk up the hills for a georgeous view
Great for easy and quick trekking. Did not take pics of the beach but it is a good place to just chill and sunbathe...clean and obviously not crowded, to no crowd at all.
