Mt Pinatubo crater was beautiful! Well worth the drive. Don't forget to take the stairs down to the actual lake when you reach the top of the crater. The hike was not difficult but we were medically screened before the hike. Those over 60 in our party had to show proof of insurance and have blood pressure taken. Jeep ride was fun and bumpy, you can bring your own mask or buy one there. There were a few stops on the hike to purchase cold drinks and use a restroom.

Long dusty 4x4 ride through rivers sand and mud up the lahare to the climb point. Easy hike and climb no challenge for a regular hiker. Nice views at the top and steep path of about 200 steps down to the crater lake.

This is a pit stop/rest area for hikers going up to mount Pinatubo crater lake. This is where all hikers pass through from the main trail. There's a sign to indicate that you're on the right path. There's also a toilet here for your convenience. There are some vendors here that sell refreshments like water, soda, coffee and surprisingly beer. There's a sign that says mount Pinatubo where most people have their picture taken at.
