Vigan City, Philippines
Burgos St

A Catholic church built during Spanish Era. Near Plaza Maestro, Plaza Salcedo & Burgos, and Calle Crisologo.I like the frontage of the building and the pintings on its ceiling.

It is great to visit a seat of the Roman Catholic Religion in Vigan. Historically, this Cathedral is one of the oldest in our country where the First Filipino Bishop served. It is located in the very heart of the City. You can have your anticipated mass here at 6 PM and at seven eat your dinner in the nearby restaurants or food store. After an hour, you can find your place in the area where the famous show of the Dancing Fountains are. This place is located right in front of the Vigan Cathedral. Once the show is over, you can walk the rest of the Calle Crisologo to buy your souvenirs.
I visited this old Catholic Church twice. It is here the first time I saw a grave marker in the column of the church.
This is in Philippines beautiful and the people awesome
Beautiful historic church. Would've appreciated it more if the sun was up.
Never had the chance to go inside the church but i took some pictures in front of the church., Based on its structure, it's very old but you can see how the locals maintain and preserve this heritage
Vigan Cathedral and the bell tower right beside it form part of the heart of the heritage city's plaza. I love how this church is always welcoming to travelers and locals alike on any day of the week.
It's a very beautiful Cathedral with many statues and altars. It's a great place to worship. Flat screen TV's enable people at the back to see the priest and altar.
