Spectacular view and cold water. It is a hangout place for locals. Its a hard trek up and down so make sure you are ready. You can swim but its deep. Fantastic photo op. Go early in the morning

Wow! What a great waterfall! I was really surprised about the height and amount of water. Take a bath in the basin it's really refreshing after the walk. Lots of stairs, so you should be fit. I appreciated the walk to the falls there are butterflies, big bamboo trees and ferns and other tropical plants. It's really worth going there!
This tourist spot involves trekking so prepare yourself physically. Trek includes going down (and up) a long flight of stairs, crossing back and forth a strong flowing river, and of coursing, climbing some large boulders. Tour guide costs Php250, they are not required but just to be safe (since the path is not really a safe one) you can hire one. The falls is a marvelous sight though.
In the super lush jungle of Dumaguete, a place you must see of you have a few spare hours (at least 4). Consider about 30 minutes from downtown to reach here, plus the same to descend the 300 steps to the valley. Quite steep, so be careful especially when wet.
amazing place. A drop of 315 stairs. Walking in jungles full of butterflies. Cool air. An impressive and powerful waterfall. Then up the stairs. worth it!
