Super bad experience with UPAD. Especially from the admins. They treat you like your the one adding burden to their jobs. Poor customer service. Also experienced an admin shouting via phone call. The move out during the COVID-19 was worst. We had to go through a ton of arguments before I could have our money back. They had to rush us to have our things out during a PANDEMIC, while our money took weeks to be retrieved. The privacy is worse. They would just give out personal information via phone call. For someone who is sensitive with privacy, I can't really recommend it. The commons was honestly not even satisfactory. Most times it was too hot. Very very limited outlets available. I have always felt the need to go to other cafes, especially at night because the commons closes early. More issues: * Slow Wifi * Sleeping guards * Very demanding admins * Too high electric charges * Lacks space * Inconsistent service It's just not worthit to stay here. No wonder why most students leave this dormitory after a year of service.

My son is an entering freshman and among 4 to 5 dorm/condos that we took time to visit, Upad is the most mom-friendly. (you know what I mean?). Security is high, amenities are great, location is good, surrounding is superb with only about few stones throw away from Benilde and 2 blocks from DL. And guess what after 5 years they only increased from 6500 to 6875 for a4in1 dorm. #saankapa #bayadnawithoutthinking

My daughter started school in Manila this SY 2019. This necessitate us to scout for a dormitory nearest her chosen university. I checked out others and have chosen University Pad or UPad in Taft. As a mom, I have chosen this dorm based on the following security procedures/policies they are implementing: 1. No room hopping. 2. No boys allowed on the all girls floor and vice versa. 3. Group works can be done only in the hall. This will require a written request. 4. Outside guests/food deliveries must stay at the lobby. 5. CCTV on each floor. There are areas for improvements such as: A. Installing refrigerator and microwave on each unit. Currently, its bring your own. B. Provision for a parking bay specially when we pick up our daughter and bringing her back. So far, my daughter is not raising any complaints.

Very poor service. No wonder many students will not stay longer. It says on their website that the facililities are world class but when it comes to charges and services no class at all. Very expensive monthly rent. The charges are ridiculous! Bottom line not a worth to stay there.

For a dormitory, I'm giving this place five stars! I've just observed though that the interior of the building has grown old so fast and the building opened only in 2012. Maybe because its occupancy is high! The dorm is equipped with a gym, a pool, a chapel, and food places. The rooms are furnished, beds, desks, sink, private bathroom, aircon, tv and cabinets!
