The renowned coffee tycoon in LUPAH SUG by the name of Sali Ahalul opened his space at the Santanina Sports Complex last November 4, 2017 for the chess players. And so the United Sulu Chess Club Incorporated has been here since that time paying only a few hundred pesos as rent. The chess players in Sulu have finally found a new home. Under President Noenyrie Asiri, the USCCI will try to create Tausug world class chess champions. The President has already taken a few small steps towards that goal by becoming World Chess Federation or FIDE accredited National Arbiter and National Instructor. Time will tell, together we can!
