Every thing seen from the past that's still preserved are always well appreciated. Glad that I was able to see one of the priceless, vintage and glamorous mansions in the Philippines.

One of the few things to see when in Tacloban. The entrance fee for the museum comes with a guided tour. The place itself was quite dark and gloomy since there weren't any lights in most of the building, they would turn them on and off when you entered a room. There was also still some storm damage from Yolanda. The ground floor consisted of bedrooms in a variety of different decorations which are different to each other. I found the upstairs to be more interesting with the larger rooms, living areas as well as conference areas. The size of the rooms was astounding. Most the furniture in there was beautiful and fairly well maintained. There were also a few wall paintings and sculptures which were nice to look at. An interesting place to see how the rich made use of money back in the day.

If you fond museums then do not miss this place when you visit Tacloban. Local and imported antiques around the globe fill the place. Mostly gifts to the Marcoses. There is a tourist guide inside who gives brief background of the rooms, artifacts, and history of the supposed-to-be Malacanang of the South. If you are generous, hand him some bucks before you leave... enjoy the place!

Place is dark and dusty. Tour guide is a bit in a hurry to go home. You might think the house is small on the outside but very big place inside. Can be a good setting for horror movie or Disney movie

Historically beautiful! Sequestered during Pres Cory's time until now. If no intervention is made by the government, it will disappear thru rot and decay. Extravagantly build by FL Imelda. Visit now...

An old house turned into a museum to showcase the marcoses glory.. The place is dark so you will need to turn on the flash when taking a photograph.. They will provide you with a tour guide which will tour you to the house 21 rooms.. During my tour there I don't feel like staying to much because my dust allergies kicked in when I stayed there.. When directly to a pharmacy right after I went there.. It cost me and mother 230 pesos to tour the place.. My senior citizen mother was not allowed to have a discount.. It is was place to go to when your a Marcos fanatic.
