Wee nam kee is located in promenade and the place looks great. The singaporean/malaysian cuisine has alot of varieties and are presented very well. We got the following: Char kway teow - tastes ok Claypot chicken rice - so-so taste Hainanese chicken rice personal set - great Unlimited laksa - so-so Salt and pepper squid - quite good

Great food! The chicken is cooked well and expertly. The laksa is exquisite. Amazing service! Upkeep is good. Decor is vibrant.

Quality of food is good, not too pricey either. They use reusable containers for \take out\ orders. Staff are pleasant. Quick service as well.

The yellow Hainanese chicken was very good, almost as good as the ones I've had in Malaysia and Singapore. I ordered it to take out and it was still tender and juicy after being heated up that night for dinner. They gave a lot of sauce which was perfect, enough for the serving of chicken given. The clay pot rice was also good, tasty and flavorful. Based on this visit, it looks like it has improved over time, although I cannot vouch for consistency because the last time I tried the food here, the quality has deteriorated. But this time, it was quite good and authentic.

The taste of the chicken has become less authentic over the years. I don't expect genuine singapore/malaysia taste but it has turned from \close\ to \just reminicent\.

The food looks good but is bland. I was expecting it to be more flavorful. The satay meat was not seasoned well so I was expecting the peanut sauce to compensate but I ended up disappointed. The sweet and sour fish was better but the sour taste of the pineapple was overpowering the flavor of the dish

Food there was a reduce in standard. This franchise taste nothing like it was 2 years ago when I come over. Portion is big but the way they cook the chicken and rice should not be associated and will not be called hainanese chicken rice. Besides the lousy good standards. The staff crew are very blur. Ask them something and they don't even know how to respond it. Be sure to watch out the bill when you paid. They add extra items in the bill which I never order and good thing I read the bill. Overall this only deserve a 1 star for once upon a time i like to eat there. #usernames

Go-to place for laksa. Their laksa bowls have generous servings. Highly recommended.
