A friend recommended Hey Sugar! for less painful and pleasant waxing experience, and it is true. The place is pretty, the staff are warm and friendly, and the service is great! It also offers combination packages (waxing on different parts of the body at a discounted rate).

Went to their new branch in gateway. Eyebrows and underarm was really good but the leg waxing was really disappointing. I just had the waxing last night and I saw this morning that a lot of hair was left behind. And I can't even ask them to re do it cause the hairs got cut short. They didn't get the hairs from the roots and my legs ended up feeling rough to the touch. The technician was nice enough but I felt like she was rushing that's why this happened. :( i don't recommend going to any of their branches and I'm never going back.
As this salon is highly recommended by everyone at a makeup group for their lash perming, my sister and I went here on December 23, 2017. But we were disappointed with the results. First, my sister's lashes were not that permed. Secondly, mine was messy because of the glue. I can even barely close and open my eyes easily. Third, only my right eye( TAKE NOTE: on the middle part) was permed. Fourth, the one who attended me said it wasn't permed because of the treatment that I did 10 years ago. The solution is still on my lashes. Like whuuuut?! Fifth, when we woke up the day after our treatment, our lashes went back to being straight. Especially my sister's. It was as if we did not go through perming. We did the post-care instructions so we have no idea what happened. I went back to the store on the 24th of December. I was told by the receptionist they could have it retouched but only up until the 25th which is Christmas Day. I was also told the only person who can do the retouch are the aestheticias who initially did our lashes. We cannot request for other aesthetician because of their policy. We contacted customer service through IG and I spoke with the Area Manager as he called me. We were scheduled on the 26th, we were allowed to have our lashes fixed without extra charge and even without the aestheticians who did our lashes. Good thing they were out for the day because we were able to at least get a much better result. We liked how our issue was resolved but we will never come back for another treatment. Aestheticians should be well-trained and well-informed.
It was okay. Just didn't like it when their staff kept pushing me to buy their body scrubs and waxes and wouldnt leave me alone to sleep while i was getting my lashes permed.
