I'm sad to leave a poor comment because the dive spots were really nice. We went to a ship wreck and to baraccuda lake. BUT the service was really poor ! First we wait 1h30 in the morning before leaving. When we did reclaim this later that said it's due to the traffic in the pier which is not. It's just one guy arrived really late and we had to wait for him. Second, we replied the previous day that we choose chicken for lunch but we had only pork. They said that they will find it later for us. We never had it! We asked for BCD size L, I got M ! My girlfriend asked for booties size S, they forget it ! Last and not least, our instructor was really cold. He never come to talk to us or try to be friendly. It makes the mood a bit strange. We are here to have fun doing fun dive but we felt not really comfortable with this.

Excellent experience. I took the open water certification course and had a fabulous experience. My instructor, Tan, went above and beyond to ensure that I understood each and every technique that he was teaching me. His emphasis on safety and proper techniques were very helpful. If I did something wrong, we would run through it again until I was comfortable doing it on my own. I felt very safe the entire time. The one on one instruction was also very nice and something that I wasn’t expecting. The course was 2 full days and I was able to go on a total of 7 dives. The rest of the crew were also very enjoyable to be around (same crew for both days). So happy that I chose Safety Stop for my first diving experience.
Great way to experience and dice around Coron and one of the few shops owned by locals! If you want an authentic and amazing experience, don't miss checking this place out! Reasonably priced and great diving guides make this a slam dunk for all your exploring needs!
I've been diving for 10 years and 500 dives, so I've used a fair number of dive operations. The dive masters were very accommodating and professional, and the boat was large and had plenty of space for all the divers and equipment. They made a real effort to never have more than a few divers per dive master. Overall, a great organization for Coron. They were also much more accommodating of divers of different experience levels than other shops in the area. They show open water divers a good time while not restricting advance divers to shallow sites. Only thing I can fault them on is payment is cash only, but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule for the Philippines. Overall a great operation- recommend!
I had a great time getting my open water and advanced certification with Al, Jun, Joseph, and Raymond. Service was friendly, sincere, responsive, responsible, yet flexible. This is a great dive shop for someone looking for the personal touch, want a dive shop that prioritizes safety, and looking to get to know Coron from the locals themselves.
Safety stop was amazing. We tried to go to a few dive shops before this one and I’m so happy they were full because safety stop is truly a hidden gem. They don’t exactly have as well known presence since there newer to the game but I think there just as good or better than some of the bigger names. I am a first time diver and went with someone with a few dives and somebody with a open water certificate. I have to say all of us felt safe and got so much out of it. Mike and tan were amazing always being friendly and patient. Support local and go to safety stop!
#supportlocals Had an amazing experience with Safety Stop Dive shop! I did 5 dives with them with a refresher course, Al (onwer) made sure everything is safe and tailor trips according to what his customers wants. Ronaldo, my dive master was so fun and filled with stories to share. The whole team here are just great people to chill and hang with and they only do small groups. I did 4 wrecks and barracuda lake which was all very new and amazing experience for me. Highly highly recommended ️ Bonus info: they are the only shop that is fully owned and run by Coronians
We did open water and advanced Padi courses here with Tan and Ian, they were professional and fun. Great teaching of fundamentals and enjoyable dive sites. One of the only locally owned and run small companies! We are happy we chose them :)
