I really appreciate how the QC Govt made an almost exact replica of the old house of President Quezon in New Manila, and sought to preserve it as well, by transferring and using most of the original parts of the house, to where it is now in the Quezon Memorial Circle. What a fitting tribute to a visionary leader.

Not open on Sundays. Interesting to visit. Entrance fee is Php10 for Quezon City residents and Php20 for others. The tour around the house is guided.

The Quezon Memorial Circle is a usual hangout spot for picnics and other outdoor activities. We also visited the newly-renovated Quezon Memorial Museum, which is in the center of the circle. The more we get to know about our First President of the Commonwealth era, the more we discover that there are other museums inside of it. Not one, but two! Yes, there are two more museums inside the Circle aside from the Quezon Memorial Museum. Today, we will feature one of the remaining two: The Quezon Heritage House. The Quezon Heritage House was originally addressed in #45 Gilmore Street in New Manila, Quezon City. The house was the residence compound of President Quezon when he was recuperating from Tuberculosis, a sickness that eventually claimed his life. The president and his family often spend weekends there to seek respite from the fast-paced life in the city. They called it their “Lucky House” In 2013, part of the then 75th year anniversary of the inauguration and cityhood of the Quezon City, the house that rested in Gilmore Street was transferred on the present site at the Quezon Memorial Circle. Today, it is the only house associated with President Quezon and his family that still exists, although only 60% of the original house and its furniture remain. This is one of the many historic places in the country. This used to be the house of the Quezon Family. Originally, it was located in 45 Gilmore Street in New Manila. In April of 2013, using the tiles and other structures of the original house furniture and fixtures, it was moved to its new location in the Quezon Memorial Center. One could always feel welcome to visit this famous place - where a great leader once found comfort and peace as he shaped the destiny of our nation.

Relocated Heritage House of former president Manuel L. Quezon, located now in Quezon Memorial Circle fronting the Quezon City Hall. The house is now converted into a museum showcasing the life of the former president. Actual furniture and daily items used by the family is on display inside. A minimal 10 pesos entrance fee is collected prior to entering the house.

A lovely example of life as it was lived in the philippines during the early part of the 20th century. The house still has almost all its original features and a wide variety of original clothing worn by the family at the time. The tour guides know a lot, but they're not professionals. If you've half a website about Quezon then you'd know as much as they do.
