The port waiting area is clean and air conditioned. We took the fastcat for our Luzon Mindanao trip and stopped over for a couple of hours. Kung m time lang sana, di nakagala pa sa mga attractions na meron sila.

NO TO FIXERS PLS!!!! The government MUST check and see for themselves the terrible service and operations at the port!!!! The system MUST BE CHANGED!!! THERE IS SO CALLED FIRST IN FIRST OUT, this system is so simple it can be applied at the port!!! For goodness sake!!!

Always liked traveling. The port is clean and orderly. The ferries are a different matter though.

As a guest to the Philippines, I am a permanent resident. Residing in Mindanao. My wife and I were traveling land trip from manila to Mindanao. I have to say that matnog port is the dirtiest place in all the Philippines. I've always been proud of the people in the Philippines with how clean .the country is. But matnog was disgusting. They had one security guard there with well over 3000 people trying to board. If you cram that many people into one place it will get dirty. But the guard was more interested in flirting with a Filipina. All the other ports I have been to we're absolutely fantastic.

Ride the FastCat, one of the nations best ferry. Clean, complete with ammedeties, safety and security. You can bring your car and just be early on the port.

A messy and muddy area. It rather looks like a cattle market ground. No help counter. Foot passengers can buy tickets on board of ferries. For "fast cat" journeys ask for their booking office,it's somewhere down there....(may-2017)
