Dear Travallure

We covered the entire museum and it was awesome! We were a little rushed, but could easily go back and do it again. Do remember that you need to check your bags in at the doors of all the national museums and that they close at 5pm (we got carried away, haha).

Nice and beautiful museum! Well preserved animal species especially the ones that are endemic to the Philippines. I like also the different rock formations found in the Philippines and other parts if the world. They have also the different plant species that are only found in the Philippines. I also like the famous "Tree of Life", if only the elevator is functional, it would add to the drama when you are going upward and see the whole museum.

Fun and exciting exhibits, you should bring your kids. In front of another museum, so if you visit, you can go as well to the other museums. And take time to inhale fresh air from the trees. I'd really love to jog here, between 6:00pm to 9:00pm because there's this cold breeze of the night. That makes you feel fresh and stay fit as well.

Proud to be Filipino! This museum showcased the creativity & intelligence of Filipinos in regards to education. No wonder Filipino Teachers are everywhere... Although I have seen only half of it since we entered the museum in its last 30 minutes before closing, I was amazed and exceeded my expectation! It's not the old-school museum that I've seen when I was young, it looks international! It reminds me if Europe Museums that I have visited too... Most of all, it's free interactive a fun-filled activity to learn the natural history in our country! It's my first time to know the variety of sea creatures & forestry that we have in our country, it comes with real looking image and description of its parts as well! I'm looking forward to me to bring my family as well and to continue my escapade as I learn everything they have prepared there. A must-see museum!

The building featured the centerpiece “The Tree of Life”. The architecture is really impressive as it is reflective of the rich natural resources of the country. Each floor gives a sophisticated look with its interactive exhibits. It features thousands of specimens, samples, and skeletal remains including the remains of the largest crocodile captive, Lolong.

Easier way to get there: for Grab drop offs, better to pin it on Children’s play ground. Entrance is just right across instead of walking from Anthropology all the way to natural history bldg. This is a gem. They preserved and maintained the museum so well. Security, entrance and cleanliness along with the building temperature’s really nice and clean. Avoid wearing high heeled shoes. Ma’am, it’s a 5-storey museum. Avoid bringing big bags, they only allow sling ones. The rest, you can leave at the baggage counter. 10/10. Exceptional
