Congratulations for having the courage and strength of opening up a branch in Robinsons Ermita! This hellish pandemic did not stop you from doing it and you are greatly admired! I have always wondered if Nanyang is the reimaging/rebranding of my well loved Toast Box. Though I haven’t really tried those kaya stuff (even in Singapore) but I am more on the food like nasi and laksa. Whether they have changed their name or not I should say that their food has maintained the same quality. And because if the latest lockdown order, it is really weird to eat nasi lemak out of a plastic container instead of the usual plate!

Their food was excellent even though it was still through delivery c/o GrabFood. Hainanese Chicken Rice was subtle yet tasty and the Cheesy Chicken Chop Noodle was fun to eat. It was my first time to try the latter. Although the noodles remind me of a famous noodle brand for college students, I still enjoyed the texture plus the cheese on the chop. That, too, was subtle yet tasty. The Hainanese was a second-time purchase and I wouldn't hesitate to order the Chop again.
