Do not book the service provide by this company!!! I booked a package from Boracay to Kalibo airport on 25 May. The Van to Kalibo only has 12 seats (include the driver).However, the driver picked up local passengers along the journey (try to earn extra money). Finally, the van took 15 people. It's a serious safety issue. Please do not let yourself in this kinds of danger situation. There are pictures of the van and driver. F.Y.I

First bus the morning seems to be around 10:00 a.m. I was at the airport at 9 nobody seemed to know. nothing was open... after some anxious moments I found some info and bus arrived...seems to be some small variation in prices but the we sorted that out
I always use Island Star Express whenever I travel to Boracay and I think they are one of the best transfer service in Aklan. Believe me I have tried them all! Booking online is also a breeze. Their van and buses are clean and I find their staff very friendly and helpful. Don't believe the naysayers here. Can't wait for my next trip! Kudos to the team again!
Big security flag!!!! A person with uniform took my sister's suitcase and lost it. We tried calling, emailing, there's no response at all and now they blocked her account on Facebook?! What kind of company would do that to their customers??
Fast and reliable service from Kalibo airport to/from Boracay. I’m glad I booked ahead as everything was taken care of and there was someone to guide me from the airport to the jetty port to my hotel and vice versa. Would book with them again.
We managed to be picked up even after our flight was delayed for a few hours and all the transfers were okay although we had to wait for other people at the terminal to get their luggage and fill the boat. Could be better if we could get a rest stop somewhere on the way from kalibo to get a drink.
Booking the pickup from Caticlan and return service from hotel was easy. I was provided instructions and update via viber messages which was great. Suggest that they have a sign with your name at the airport rather than working out where the office is to confirm your arrival and transfer. Return trip to Caticlan was on time as stated in my viber message. All good.
If island star are collecting you from your resort make sure you ask if they are island star if you think they are. Their transfer vehicles to the jetty don't have any signage on them and we were sat waiting despite the vehicle being there. As we were loading the boat the baggage handlers were asking us for tips even though we had already paid for full tickets.
