1. Great service 2. One of the best miso soup I've tasted 3. Could have more dressing flavors/options for the shredded cabbage 4. Tried their kimukatsu curry. It was good but nothing special 5. Has complementary iced or hot tea Rating: 7.5/10

Great lunch specials NOW!

Great Katsu place. Not crowded as Yabu yet the quality, price and service is the same. They are generous refilling the side dishes, unlike the stingy Saboten. Don’t miss their Katsu curry, so good. I’d go back here anytime!

I love their food and the ambiance of the place. I love how mild but flavorful their miso soup is. Prices are reasonable considering the unlimited sides, delicious food and great service you’ll receive from their staff.

It was decent enough. Black pepper pork katsu. Cabbage salad. Rice. Miso. Pickles. Portion was large, but both the katsu sauce and the sesame salad dressing were just...okay.

Fantastic tonkatsu restaurant. All you can eat rice, miso soup, and cabbage with any of their delectable tonkatsu

If similar Japanese restaurants (i.e. never ending servings of rice, cabbage and miso soup) are too full and crowded, head to this place. The place can immediately offer a table once you enter. The food may not be that great as compared to, let's say Yabu (but thank God there is no sesame seed grinding ritual here!), but you will get your money's worth! Try the garlic or cheese stuffed katsus. Their appetizers are good and the servings are meals by themselves. Just lighten up the place a bit more- I feel like entering a cave whenever i dine here!

Their mille feuille katsu is okay. The ones with filling (cheese, garlic, and black pepper) brings an interesting twist to the flavor, but not entirely groundbreaking, as most people would just dip it in the sauce anyway. The shredded cabbage is very dry and not very appetizing. It seems the cabbage was shredded hours before. The staff, though, are friendly and helpful with questions about the menu.
