The church has a well-organized setup for covid precautions. At the door, there are greeters who assist the churchgoers and guide them to their proper seats. The setup for receiving communion was also orderly. However, there was no system in place regarding how the churchgoers would exit the church.

This Cathedral will always be unique to me. It reminds me or Barasoain Church in Malolos, but when you go inside, the elements of Bataeño's Pride overwhelms local and foreign tourists, especially us Catholics. Balanga City's dedication to St. Joseph is timely to what the Holy See celebrate this year, amidst the Pandemic that we experience in the current times. Hoping to go back here again soonest. ) (Photos taken last February 25, 2020)

Situated right in the middle of the City of Balanga, this cathedral is the bastion of Roman Catholicism in the province of Bataan. It has provided home and refuge to Christian- Catholic souls seeking guidance and strength, and has hosted different religious activities and milestones among the faithful, from daily masses and novenas to baptism, confirmation, matrimony and final blessings of the departed. It is right across the city hall and the plaza, reflective of the traditional arrangement of Filipino towns ever since the Spanish period. It is accessible by foot or by private vehicle, and by tricycle which is the public transport in Balanga City.
