Truly Japanese inspired restaurant from ambience, and service! The food was served fast and it was delicious. Value of money is worth it. Japanese shrimp fried rice was very good.

Pretty good. Good number of ingredients to choose from and all of them were fresh. Good value too. I was a little unhappy with the rice—it was dry and didn’t quite meet expectations. Staff should have kept a closer eye on the powdered condiments—they stuck together and was not immediately usable. The service was really good though. No mixups with the orders and they were pretty prompt as well.

It can improve. I have my fair share of Cold Soba dishes, but theirs was disappointing and the first time I tried where the dipping sauce bowl had a lot of ice cubes - diluting the sauce eventually. But this is a a tempura place. And we tried their unlimited tempura (we knew beforehand it was for the Shrimp Tempura only. Rice and sides are additonal.) Tempura sauce was lacking a certain taste and felt dilluted. The good thing is they cook it to order quick and in front of you. Left full, but would probably not return soon.

I had a bit of an underwhelming experience dining here. Pricepoint is high, but the product is does not match the price. So2x tempura. It is okay, but not great.

Authentic Japanese Tempura are available here in Cebu! You will know what's the difference Filipino Tempura and Japanese one! You can eat Tempura Set less than 400pesos. That's including Rice, Miso soup, Salted vegetable(漬物). Yummy and affordable!

The staff is friendly and accommodating. I went for meal set number 3; 2pc shrimp, 1 white fish, amd 3 veggies. Set came with bowl of rice, miso soup and dipping sauce. Overall a pretty good meal, though would have preferred slightly more crispy batter. The pricing seemed reasonable but take note I prefer bigger meals. For dessert, I tried the leche flan tempura. Might try different dessert next time, since I would have preferred the flan to be room temp. it seemed to be on the cold side, despite the frying. Overall a ok meal and enjoyable experience.

Note: This does not fully represent the overall rating of the restaurant. We went there to try their unlimited tempura. To order, you have to inform either the waitresses or to the chefs personally to get what you want. We ordered the shrimp tempura and some variety of vegetable tempura and watched the chefs cook in front of us. The shrimp tempura are served by 6 pieces at a time and a single piece of vegetable tempura per order, but you can ask for more when you order. They have two types of tempura sauce to fit your tastebuds and himalayan salt and curry salt to spice up the eating experience. The tempura was light, crispy and not salty at all, which was good for us as we can control the saltiness. What we found to be a problem was that the shrimps were not veined and sometimes the fried coating of the shrimp tempura had some bluish color and we think that's the digestive tract that exploded during the frying.

Siosai Tempura by Yasu Suzuki serves mostly... TEMPURA. In fact, you will not find ramen, bento, or sashimi here. There are various kinds of meat like the usual shrimp. Then, there is also chicken, white fish, squid, and even pork. There are also vegetables, but let's all agree that deep-fried battered anything is not really healthy, no matter what green, orange, or violet plant it is. Combinations are available as sets, which come with rice, soup, and Japanese pickles Siosai's specialty is the huge sea tiger prawn, which will set you back at 200 pesos per piece. If you think that's no biggie, wait 'til you get your hands on the even more massive (and seasonal) GIANT prawn, which costs 350 pesos each. For tempura, this is a great place (with very Japanese ambiance) to dine at. Accepts PWD ID.
