Went early in the morning to catch the sunrise. It was a bit cloudy that day but eventually I found what I was looking for, Mayon Volcano! The guards were friendly. Comfort rooms are available too.

A good view from the top of the hill.
It's not developed tour site as it is an active Doppler radar being used by PAGASA. The guard might come off as a little grumpy but they let you in to see the tower. Access inside is for forbidden.
It is not open to the public when we visited here but since we knew some of the staffs we were granted a quick permission. We just wanted to take a picture of the breathtaking view here. When we got there it's raining hard, but it's Catanduanes anyway so rains are common. Despite the rain we got to enjoy the view. It's really beautiful up there. As for the Weather Station though, the building's not maintained properly (or so because it was ravaged by the previous storm) but the landscaping is being improved.
Picnic under the big tree and windy green nature, this place exactly you can enjoy the whole family or gang! If your at the catanduanes, visit also this place. You can see the whole place at the peak of pagasa weather station!
