Their location is a bit small but we managed to arrive during off-peak hours. It was a quick wait and we tried their Monkey Banana Bingsu. Maple and walnut were tasty and not too sweet, but the ice could use more flavor. I probably got too used to milky ice but I did enjoy how fine the ice was. More toppings would've given this more value too but it would probably be acceptable if one intends to eat light.

Pricey but good bingsu with velvety smooth ice shavings with just the right sweetness.

PAT BING SU Milk snow Sweet red bean grain powder rice cake jujube chips (190 Php) — After our scrumptious and savory Italian entree, we tamed down our palate with some Korean dessert. It’s my first bingsu experience. It’s one of their classic flavors and simply because I love anything red bean. The subtle sweetness of the red beans compliment the milky and smooth like a snow ice (as if I’d touch or taste snow already ). Everything is perfectly balanced, crunchy almond nuts, chewy sticky rice, powdered-like ice and honest-to-goodness taste of the red beans. . . SANS RIVAL CAKE— light, no too sweet which I liked about korean desserts. . . CAFE SEOLHWA, Solenad, Sta Rosa, Laguna — the interior is nice, place was quite packed because it’s a family day Sunday. It’s my first bingsu experience and it didn’t fail.

This dessert cafe serves a variety of sweet treats but it is best known for Korean bingsu. The large bingsu serving makes it good for sharing. I particularly liked the Choco Brownie Bingsu, which had brownie chunks and almond shavings. Other dessert options are available such as sweet and savory toast and cakes. The cakes on display when I visited the Solenad branch were inviting—the almond sansrival, red velvet, Belgian chocolate cake, and vanilla marshmallow sprinkles.

Bang for the buck!Sulit.Yung serving nilang medium, good for two, and the large good for four. And 30 or 40 pesos lang ang price difference. And it was so good, akala ko puro ice lang na tulad ng halo-halo natin, nope.Highly recommended.

Our go-to place if we want a decent spicy tokbokki and very yummy bingsu.
