Malolos

We visited the place last December 5, 2020. There were no checkpoints going to Bulacan but I wasn't sure if the church was open to the public for local visitors. The front door was closed so we entered through a side door that can be accessed when you go to the adoration chapel. While the facade may look unremarkable to the untrained eye (mine are semi-trained, if there is such a thing) the interior is a sight to behold. If you love art, architecture, and praying (of course!), this is a must-see when in Malolos.

Place is very crowded but a good place to reflect. I love the church is kinda modern. Parking is very available. Place is quiet.
Holy place. Great Landmark amenities and ambiance.
This is the Malolos Cathedral and the mother church of the Diocese of Malolos. Its a nice old neoclasical church in the middle of Malolos (it is also near the historic Barasoain Church). Emilio Aguinaldo used the convent of the church as his office when he established the First Philippine Republic. We visited the church for our Visita Iglesia on Maundy Thursday. This is a must-visit for catholics, and religious & history buffs
The center of worship for Catholics in the City of Malolos. Formerly the President's Palace during the Malolos Republic, the cathedral now basilica is home to the Bishop of the Diocese of Malolos.
A good place of worship at the center of a busy city
Due to the pandemic, there's not much people in the basilica.
We had our traditional Visita Iglesia for 2019 in Bulacan and this was our first Church. It’s a very historic church which housed the 1st official government of the Philippines under President Aguinaldo. It was also recently restored in 2017 to its former glory. Beautiful church.
