Working with Sheila was great. She understood the direction of my child's first book, Avianna and Rupert The Space Bear which we pretty much felt confident to let her imagination flow to bring the best out of the story. She was flexible where any minor changes were needed but from the outset produced satisfactory and colourful illustrations helping to bring the story to life with the 20 illustrations. The book is available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble amongst other online bookstores. We have no hesitation to work with her again for our next book. You will not be disappointed.
As a first time author, I was completely unsure about the illustrator process and relationship. Shiela was awesome! She made me feel very comfortable collaborating with her throughout the process. We worked on my first book together and we are now plugging ahead with our second project-together. Her work speaks for itself. But beyond that, she is always accessible and made several changes requested after payment was made. She is the best and I would gladly recommend her. I worked with Bucket of Whimsies to illustrate my very first children's book. As a novice I really didn't know what I was doing or what I was really looking for. Shiela brought my words to life and created illustrations that not only exceeded my expectations but were also completed in a timely and professional manner. Shiela used photos and images of real life to incorporate into her drawings making my book both personal and meaningful. I had lots of edits- my fault- and every time Shiela made the corrections in a quick and efficient manner. I just finished my first book and am ready to write my second one. Shiela will absolutely be my illustrator.
