This your first stop in Banaue to pay the PHP50 visitor fee. They will give you lots of good advice and arrange all your tour bookings. I highly recommend not booking your tours with the local tricycle drivers as some of them will rip you off. eg my friend and I were quoted PHP2500 each for a tour of Batad by a local tricycle driver, whist we paid PHP2200 for both us through the Banaue Tourist Office, and that was with a driver and separate guide.

Friendly staff with lots of information inside. Upon entering Banaue you must go to the tourist information to pay your environmental fee. They have information about tours, bus times etc. They can also give you a map upon request

I have to say that it is perfectly organized here. Actually we were quite angry that the we paid so much for a tour to Batad with other company (1000 P each) because here it cost 900 P for the tour. We took 2 tours with this office and we didn't have to arrange it beforehand. We just come and they gave us guide. And these guides were very pleasant, kind and helpful. They told us so many interesting facts. They get only 10 percents from the amount. The rest is for repairing the rice terases. So you can give some extra money to the guide. The tours are really cheap. So go here to the official office and avoid other expensive companies.
