Just an hour drive from Q.C. in the morning. This cave is one of the largest in the area. People would come here to explore or meditate inside the inner chambers. You have to climb a long flight of stairs up to the cave entrance. (200 steps more or less) They charge a small fee for entrance and for the guide. Candles can be bought for those who meditate or would like perform a ceremony inside which I heard is quite popular during the Holy Week. The cave have its share of vandalism so avoid touching the rocks with crystals as the salt and acid from our fingers will damage the surface. You will see in the inner chamber where they collect the water from the stalactite which is drinkable but didn't try at that time. The cave is pretty clean so lets try to keep it that way. There is also just a minimal earthy smell and the place is quite cool. There are some birds inside which you can see when you look at the ceiling with circular holes. Yes Birds Nest but only a few not commercial quantity. DO chat with the guide as there are lots of interesting stuff you can learn from him. Weekdays only a few visitors which is good since there are no parking area along the narrow road if you are driving here.

Good one day trip! It's a cave with a lot of interesting stations. Recommended for the religious and adventurous. Also has a mini hike up to the top of the hill the cave is located, which adds to the itinerary. Local tourist guide also mentioned that you're allowed to camp in the cave! Just bring food & don't leave up trash.
